Working with David has been a game-changer for our brand. We’ve been working with David since 2019 when he was first recommended to us, and he’s become one of our preferred and go-to photographers ever since. As director of Cala Creatives, a London-based photo and video agency, I need people I enjoy working with and trust, and with David, I never have to worry. He’s personal, funny, and professional, and whether I’m on set with him or sending him out solo, I know the job is in safe hands. His images are consistently beautiful, balanced, well-composed, and tailored to the brief. He’s shot lifestyle, product, and architectural photography for us, always adapting to different brands with ease. David gets the job done without fuss, properly. David from start to finish was a pleasure to work with and brought his own creative perspective to everything produced. I commissioned David McConaghy for a picnic campaign titled ‘Set Summer Free’. As part of the project, Fortnum’s commissioned nine photographers to showcase Staycation locations around the UK. In doing so, each photographer was given creative free rein to art direct their own shoot, which is a step-change for our business and how we work. David’s photography and moving images exceeded our brief. He was a pleasure to work with, going above and beyond to ensure the shoot was a great success — from the initial mood board to the location, choice of models and styling, his images tapped into our desire to reach a new audience whilst ensuring authenticity. I highly recommend David and we look forward to working with him on other projects in the near future.

We really loved the content David and his team created, both the images and the videos were great. We feel like he really captured the essence of the MINI Countryman and its adventurous spirit!

We asked Dave to help us promote Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way walking routes to GB holidaymakers on Instagram. Dave provided us with clear tiered pricing content packages that we could choose from for our new coastal walking campaign, and we found it very good value for the return on investment. I would highly recommend working with Dave and his team for social media campaigns, he over delivered on the content and we couldn’t have been more pleased to work with such a talented photographer and influencer.

We’ve worked with together on several shoots for Talisker Whisky. David understands the brand and always delivers against the brief, going above and beyond to get the perfect shot every time.

It was a pleasure working with David, we were already impressed with his portfolio to date and after sending over our brief David provided a really comprehensive and on-brand proposal, he really understood what we were trying to achieve. The whole process from start to finish was clear and straightforward, David supplied an excellent mix of images for us to choose from (it was extremely hard to narrow down!) and we are already looking forward to working with David again in the near future.

Working with David on the Shackleton Adventure Weekend was fantastic! The process was easy, and he offered excellent consultation for making the content work for our target audience. This meant that the final shots and social media posts were on brief for the brand, whilst also being engaging and authentic for our consumers.

We loved the photos and think David really got the brand. We liked the range of close ups of products and further away, more casual shots. Really like the framing and capturing something different. It’s often hard to get a different angle of outdoor walking without looking ‘samey’ but we think David created some unique shots with the location.
